One of America’s Most Respected Sportsmen

Alan WarrenAsk Alan Warren about the need to reach “The 80%” and be prepared for a thoughtful and sobering assessment on “the current state of the outdoor industry”.

Using his nationally syndicated talk radio show as his bully pulpit, Alan has been described as the “Glenn Beck of the Outdoors”. He touches on subjects that are near and dear to those who enjoy the outdoors and his audience demographic goes far beyond the traditional angler and hunter. With more listeners who don’t fish or hunt (than those who do) Alan’s goal is simple; to communicate with “the 80%” the important issues that everyone needs to know about.

According to Alan, “if conservation efforts and the responsible use of our resources is to continue, it is essential that we stop preaching to the choir. We must articulate the positive things that man is responsible for to the 80% of the public that just doesn’t understand. The radical environmentalists and anti-meat eating animal rights fanatics are winning the communication war with the 80%. They’re using emotion based half-truths and misinformation to steer policies that work against the principles of stewardship and conservation and the public has been accepting it as fact. Not anymore. We’re exposing the truth”.

Here are a few of the hot topics Alan’s covered recently:

• The closure of public lands out west. Why are the Feds closing vast expanses of public BLM and Forest Service land? Is this constitutional? What’s the real agenda?
• The closure of National Seashore to the public. Is it really to protect bird and turtles or is there another reason the government wants us off public land?
• The destruction of valuable fish habitat in the gulf by using explosives to topple and remove off-shore platforms (vertical reefs). Where are the environmentalists on this one? Why is it legal to kill endangered species with complete impunity?
• Interviewing and exposing animal rights extremists- What is the real agenda of these radicals?
• CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease) Is it the single greatest threat to whitetail deer? Or is it an excuse by the government to maintain control with scare tactics and misinformation?

Not an ordinary outdoor talk show host, Alan is a man who loves Nature; with a unique perspective that took a long time to mature and develop.

Growing up in Dallas, Texas Alan was a fanatic about the outdoors. His family and friends will tell you he was totally consumed with fishing and hunting. He would steal bacon and hot dogs from the refrigerator each afternoon and slip off to the nearby creek to fish, explore and learn about nature.

When he wasn’t fishing or hunting, he was dreaming about it. And he would dream each weekend with his boyhood hero, Jim Thomas (The Lone Star Sportsman TV Show). Each week, Jim would travel the far corners of the globe with unforgettable adventures that would burn a permanent place in the soul of the little boy that would grow up to be one of America’s favorite outdoor TV Hosts.

As a boy, Alan dreamed of one day producing an outdoor television program like his hero, Jim Thomas. In 1983, Alan’s dream became a reality with the creation and launch of his first TV series, Fishing Texas. An instant success, Fishing Texas would be the launching pad for other series titles over the next 27 years.
