If you enjoy going to the ocean, the gulf or the beach, there is something bad happening. Businesses are going out of business by the droves? Why? That’s the topic of this week’s show.
You’ll meet all kinds of people who are impacted by governmental rules and laws that are strangling the lifeblood out of many of these (once profitable) businesses. The uncertainty that government rules and regs has put on businesses along the gulf coast and all the way up the Atlantic side (as you will hear) are unbelievable.
I spent most of this week listening to people from Texas to Florida, trying to get my brain wrapped around the issues and trying to figure out how to tell this sad story without putting the audience to sleep.
As a preview of the program, take a look at this video shot off the coast of Texas (at an off shore oil platform). While watching, IMAGINE 100% of these fish (ALL OF THEM) being killed. Yep. It’s happening right now and almost nobody’s talking about it! Where are the environmentalists? That’s a good question!
Please, if you CARE about our country, if you CARE about small business, if you CARE about the oceans and the gulf, please listen to this show. You’ll likely hear things you don’t want to hear (but I think you NEED TO HEAR them). And I’m hopeful you’ll be fired up enough to make some phone calls and fire off some emails to let your voice be heard. To listen to the show live, visit our radio page. To listen to this show after it airs, just go to our podcast page and you can download our April 21 show as soon as it’s posted (should be within 24 hours from now).
If things continue going in the direction they are now heading, access and opportunities will be denied for EVERYONE in many of today’s most popular tourist areas. Don’t believe me? You will after listening to this weeks program.
You can go to our Links page to connect with some of the folks that’ll be calling in this week.
