With all the hullabaloo surrounding Bob Parsons (the founder of Go Daddy) taking an elephant in Africa, I thought we’d “stir the pot a bit” by showing you what happens when a hunter shoots a 6,000 pound chunk of Protein in Mozambique. This video was taken about 5 miles from the nearest village. No roads, no maps, no NOTHING (except a tracker and a game scout).
Word spreads like wildfire in the jungle when someone takes a tusker and the villagers rejoice. Not only do they have protein to sustain life, but the Beast (that has been ravaging their crops) has been killed. It’s the perfect scenario of man helping man.
Elephants are plentiful in many areas of Africa and hunting them is a way of life for the people who have lived there for thousands of years. Got a different opinion? I’d love to hear it. Let me know if you’d like to get on the radio and we’ll do our best to put you at the front of the line! Enjoy!
